For well over a century, the world has come together in celebration of International Women’s Day (IWD), to honor and commemorate the achievements of women. Year over year, women continue to be driving forces to push us closer to a brighter future, despite facing a myriad of inequities.
That said, the social, cultural, and political advancement of women does not rest on the shoulders of women alone. Collective action from allies across all backgrounds is necessary to further elevate women, raise their voices, call attention to their challenges, and sing the praises of their accomplishments. Each and every concerted effort we make toward equity is significant.
This year’s IWD theme continues a call to action by asking us to #EmbraceEquity. When we embrace equity, we embrace diversity and inclusion. We embrace our differences and grant each other the opportunity to share our unique stories. Above all, we embrace the notion that our collective goal is equality.
cred is proud to celebrate the women who have inspired us through their stories, accomplishments, and contributions to advancing equity.

How We #EmbraceEquity
Since its founding in 2015, cred has worked diligently to close the equity gap by advocating for 50% women representation and 50% BIPOC representation in all events we are involved with, as well as, with our client roster of speakers.
At the conclusion of 2022, 44% of clients represented were women, just shy of our 50% goal. Even in falling short of our goal, we have made major strides toward equity through the introduction of our pro bono program, credVoices. We recognize that equity advancement requires continual effort and is no easy undertaking; every step we take is one towards a collective goal for equality.
