We’re almost halfway through 2022 and have already hired five new team members, bringing cred to a team of 28 in total! We are beyond excited to expand our team and influence in the events space. Get to know more about our new hires below!
What excites you the most about working at cred?
Loren Provins, Coordinator (speaker management): In my early days here, I can already tell just how passionate and kind the entire team is. I'm so excited to learn as much as possible!
Jessica Gelico, Associate (speaker management): Getting to make an impact with such a collaborative team. I'm excited to help thought leaders build their brand and it's even better that I get to do that with such a great team!
Jessie Sweet, Coordinator (event management): Learning the ins and outs of the events industry excites me the most! I love working with new clients on different events and learning something new each time.
Kali Murphy, Coordinator (event management): Being a part of such a fun, close-knit team and traveling to in-person events!
Erin Cusick, Event Planner: The people! This team is incredible, and so are the clients we work with.
What industries excite you the most?
Loren: The HR industry fascinates me, especially now during a season of career change for a large percentage of the U.S.
Jessica: Sustainability, Entertainment, DEI, Leadership, and Women in Tech.
Jessie: The sustainability industry really excites me because of how unique their technology and strategies are for creating sustainable solutions for existing problems.
Kali: I am so excited to work events in all different industries, every event is different and I am super excited to learn!
Erin: I love that I get to learn across a variety of industries, but I have a particular interest in politics, data, and SaaS.
What do you like to do in your free time?
Loren: I spend almost all my free time reading, reviewing books on Goodreads, and participating in book clubs! My goal is to read 100+ books this year.
Jessica: I love watching TV (from Boy Meets World to Ted Lasso to Selling Sunset, I'm there); reading books (my favs are mysteries and rom-coms); and spending time with my dogs and the people I love.
Jessie: In my free time I love to read, play solitaire, and watch either football or basketball depending on the time of year. I also enjoy going on walks around SF with my dog!
Kali: I love to cook yummy food and spend time outside doing fun things
Erin: On weekends you can usually find me exploring nature trails, tinkering in my workshop, or searching for treasures in a vintage shop.
