Did you know investors funded $136.5 billion into venture-backed companies in the United States last year? Now venture capitalists are bracing themselves for a period of extreme transition, as the economy has been transformed by the COVID-19 pandemic. VCs can look to conferences and virtual events to stay up-to-date on the rapidly-changing investing trends, network with other investors, and keep deal flow moving.

In this edition of our credTen series, we’re highlighting 10 in-person and virtual events helping investors stay up to speed on VC trends and connect with potential partners. We’re also sharing three honorable mentions that were canceled for COVID-19, but will be back in action in 2021.

Gateway Conference
September 9-10 | San Francisco
This invite-only conference gathers the nation’s top investors and business leaders from the most compelling companies. This event has been designed to give attendees direct access to senior management via presentations, Q&A sessions, and one-on-one meetings.

DealStreetAsia PE-VC Summit
September 15-16  | Singapore
This summit has established itself as the leading conference addressing Asia’s new Golden Age of investing. The session content addresses private equity, venture capital investment outlook and trends, LP/GP narratives, founder stories, fireside chats with unicorns, country and sector focus tracks as well as discussions on frontier markets, and future growth sectors.

Chicago Venture Summit

This is one of the largest venture events in the Midwest, drawing more than 400 investors to connect with Chicago’s industry leaders and startups. The summit will host some of the most influential venture capitalists, corporate VCs, and angel investors in the country.

SuperReturn North America 
September 16-18*  | Chicago
