credTen: Top LGBTQ+ in Tech Events

Each June, we celebrate Pride Month to embrace the diversity of the LGBTQ+ community and reflect on the continued fight toward inclusivity. What began in remembrance of the Stonewall Riots and the pioneers of the LGBTQ+ rights movement, has become a time to honor those who have fought for the community and given new generations the chance to fully express their identities.

While Pride Month shines an important light on the LGBTQ+ community, it’s essential we find ways to elevate LGBTQ+ voices throughout the entire year as well. Especially within the tech industry, LGBTQ+ leaders are underrepresented and rarely centered, their voices often missing from leadership. Addressing the biases and and discrimination the LGBTQ+ community still faces and sharing resources to ensure these leaders have the skills they need to be successful is a necessary step toward creating greater equity in the industry.

In honor of Pride Month, we’ve gathered a list of the top 10 LGBTQ+ tech events that create safe spaces and support the community year-round. Highlighting incredible LGBTQ+ speakers and allies, these events not only showcase the achievements of community leaders but work to empower, educate, and employ LGBTQ+ tech workers.
