Once you make the commitment to elevating your voice, it can be easy to know generally which topics you’d like to speak to and events you’d like to attend. But what about format? How do you know what kind of talk will be best to highlight your messaging? As you start to think about what makes sense for you, here are a few tips on how to choose the right speaking format.
At the start of each year, we take a look back at our events database to find insights and trends from the year before. While 2020-2021 impacted the way we plan, speak at, and attend conferences forever—2022 was the first time in a while things felt almost back to normal—or at least, a new type of normal.
More than 12,000 founders, investors, executives, and press put on their warmest jackets and gloves to enter Helsinki, Finland for Slush, the world’s leading startup event. We were lucky enough to be brought along for the ride with Lightspeed Venture Partners. At the conference, we helped manage their onsite presence at Slush during the regular programming, as well as event happenings after dark (or 3:45 in the afternoon, as the Finnish call it).
