At cred, we believe that investing in our people is just as important as investing in our business. That’s why every year, we dedicate an entire week to turning our focus inward. Enter Wellness Week, an annual tradition full of opportunities to recharge, reconnect, and take care of our bodies and minds.
This year’s Wellness Week was no exception. From April 14-18, 2025, we prioritized self-care and wellbeing through a thoughtful lineup of wellness-focused activities and team-building moments. Here’s a look back at what filled our cups during this year’s week long internal event:
🏃♀️ Monday: Choose Your Movement
We kicked things off with movement at your own pace. Team members could opt for a self-guided credWalk (a staple of our wellness programming, as we also host an ongoing Step Challenge throughout the week) or join a group Peloton ride, setting the tone for a week of activity and intention.
🧖♀️ Tuesday: DIY Pampering
Tuesday invited us to slow down and care for ourselves with a bit of at-home spa energy. Using basic kitchen ingredients, we made DIY face scrubs from a curated list of recipes, making for a fun and simple way to infuse some creativity and self-care into our day.
🧘♂️ Wednesday: Collective Calm
Midweek, we came together for a group meditation session via Wellness Coach, a global wellness platform that offers personalized wellness offerings (a major perk cred offers to its employees!). We took 15 minutes to breathe, reset, and center ourselves as a team.
🔥 Thursday: Sweat + Learn & Reflect
Thursday was a big one, filled with two opportunities to connect both physically and mentally. We started the day with a 20-minute HIIT class led by our very own CEO, and later we welcomed Amy Branum, a functional health and Ayurvedic practitioner, for an educational session on creating your own Dinacharya routine. Amy shared her deep knowledge of herbalism and holistic wellness, followed by open Q&A with the team. It was an inspiring session that grounded us in ancient wisdom while offering practical tools for everyday wellbeing.
🌿 Friday: credWellness Day
To wrap up the week, everyone got to enjoy a credWellness Day — a full day off work to rest, reset, and lean fully into whatever wellness meant to them.
🏆 Ongoing All Week
In addition to our scheduled events, we sprinkled in daily inspiration and friendly competition throughout the week:
Mexican Primrose Botanical Gifts: One of our very own employees also makes small-batch skincare products rooted in tradition & the healing essence of plants – we were thrilled to collaborate with her again to create a custom line of cred goodies to send to each employee.
Daily Affirmations: Shared each morning in Slack to keep wellness top of mind.
Step Challenge: A fan favorite! Team members tracked their steps all week, with a $100 gift card going to the top stepper.
Wellness Bingo: New this year! We challenged each other to complete a wellness-themed Bingo card — with another $100 prize for the first to hit Bingo.
