Since May, the entire world has focused on how we, as a society, can listen and elevate the voices of minorities—specifically those in the Black and Brown community. One of the ways that we're doing that here at cred is by adding more Black/POC voices to the agendas of events that we plan and our speaker roster.

The other way we're doing this is in our newest credTen. Here are the top ten events that focus on diversity and elevating minority voices.

3% Conference (passed)
July 27-29 | Virtual
One of the benefits of virtual conferences is rewatching events and sessions that you might have missed, like the 3% Conference. Held on July 27-29, this conference brought together creatives from companies like Adobe, The New York Times, Twitter, Bumble, and others to discuss how their respective industries can create a more inclusive community.

“3% uses a model called ‘communication through demonstration.’ We don't tell tech companies why they should be diverse—we show them how much more innovative, prosperous, and happy their companies can be with truly diverse talent at all levels of the organization. We show it through the programming at our event (50% of our speakers are people of color), through the people we profile on our blog, and through the research results of our Certification Program. Leaders have a visceral experience of diversity that makes them invested in bringing more diverse thinkers into their organizations.” —Kat Gordon, Founder and CEO of The 3% Movement
