Founder & CEO
As a multiracial Asian American, Nicole often felt she wasn’t "white" enough for one side of her identity or "Filipina" enough for the other. In response, she decided to take control of her narrative, which led to the creation of Fintech Is Femme, a media company and community dedicated to shaping fintech’s future and closing the gender wealth gap by amplifying the voices of women in fintech. The publication provides news and analysis on women-led companies, from innovative startups to established institutions, showcasing their impact and vision through an industry-leading newsletter, podcast, and event series. As the founder and CEO, she has grown Fintech Is Femme into a thriving brand with 50,000 subscribers in just one year.
Nicole has been recognized as an award-winning journalist, author, and content director, actively reshaping the fintech narrative through her newsletter, public speaking engagements, and events. She hosts 300-person events in New York City, aimed at educating women about fintech leadership, and partners with industry giants like Nasdaq and JPMorgan to lead campaigns that spotlight women as economic powerhouses. Her debut book, Fintech Feminists, an Amazon #1 New Release in finance books, highlights 40 trailblazing female entrepreneurs tackling some of the world’s most pressing economic challenges.
We can’t wait to help her further amplify her message!
