Last week, the cred team packed their bags and traveled North to Vancouver, Canada, where we had the wonderful opportunity to volunteer and attend Traction Conference 2022—a two-day event on August 10-11 bringing founders and leaders from some of the fastest-growing companies alongside top-tier VCs.
The conference featured sessions on product, GTM/growth, and “scaling with war stories” from founders and CxOs. The agenda included a range of speakers, including names such as:
Anu Muralidharan, Chief Operating Officer, Expensify
Oji Udezue, Head of Product, Twitter
Anna Griffin, CMO, Intercom
Casey Winters, CPO, Eventbrite
Tomasz Tunguz, Managing Director, RedPoint
Jeff Titterton, COO, Zendesk
Mary D’Onofrio, Partner, Bessemer Venture Partners
Melissa Rosenthal, Chief Creative Officer, ClickUp
And more!
On top of volunteering onsite, our team was lucky enough to watch some of our clients take the stage. See our highlights below!
Jonathan Yaffe, CEO of AnyRoad, took the stage to discuss “10 Experiential Marketing Tactics to Supercharge Your Growth.”
Jonathan Heiliger, General Partner of Vertex Ventures, moderated the session, “From Bootstrapped to Billions: How LaunchDarkly Turned an Unknown Problem Into An Industry Defining Category” with Edith Harbaugh, CEO of LaunchDarkly.
Let’s not forget to highlight cred’s very own founder and CEO Caitlin Bartley, who took the stage to MC Thursday’s second round of speakers!
cred had an excellent time coming together as a team to volunteer, watch sessions come to life, and enjoy one another’s company. cred was especially excited when Lloyd Lobo, Co-Founder of Traction & Boast.AI, invited our team to the stage to thank us for volunteering.
Our time in Vancouver was one for the books and certainly won’t be forgotten. We can’t wait to see what Traction 2023 brings!
