As restrictions are easing in San Francisco, cred was able to take a break from the busy events & speaker management season and enjoy fall in the Bay Area!
At cred, our Culture Club pulls together monthly events and activities to help keep our team together, even when we are miles apart. Throughout October, Culture Club hosted activities both in the office and virtually. Since the pandemic, our team has shifted to promote the hybrid era and our team is now spread across 6 states, so we’ve made it a goal to continue offering both in-person, virtual, and hybrid events.
In September, we toasted to reuniting as a team with a happy hour in the East Bay at Temescal Brewery. With IPAs, Hazies and Ales in hand, we had the opportunity to come together to see cred faces, old and new. It was the first time meeting many of our recently hired employees in person—yay! Here’s the beautiful sunset we enjoyed!
October proved to be a BUSY month of celebrations and team updates. In total, we celebrated 5 birthdays, 2 crediversaries (work anniversaries) and welcomed 2 new members of cred to the team. In line with our values, we took every chance we could to enjoy the show and celebrate wins, like growing our team of incredible individuals!
We kicked off the month of October with a credPicnic at SF’s Sundown Cinema. With burritos and blankets in hand, we made our way to the foggy Golden Gate park for dinner and a movie. We set up camp and caught up over Mexican food and wine until the sun started to set, ushering in movie time. The film of the night was ‘A League of Their Own.’
Later in the month we had various spooky activities. During our team huddle, we played a spirited virtual game of Halloween-themed jeopardy and the “creatures” category was a fan favorite. Jeopardy was followed by pumpkin painting, snacks and movie time. We got our creative juices flowing to hand paint festive pumpkins while we sipped apple cider and ate donuts. For entertainment, we had a Hallow’s Eve classic playing — Hocus Pocus.
With the holidays fast approaching, cred is excited to continue the festivities with traditions like credsgiving, our annual company offsite, and a holiday party!
