We had Some Fun! A Recap on cred's Wellness Week 2021
cred hosted its third annual Wellness Week, full of activities to promote our mental and physical wellbeing. As we kicked off our second virtual Wellness Week with over a year of WFH, we wanted to encourage everyone to take this time and do what serves them best. From creating new routines to trying new recipes to doing different workouts, we came together and practiced self-care in many different forms.
Over the week, we started each morning with a team creditation (credians, doing mediations!). These were led by our very own Taylor Belhause with some sessions on the Wellness Coach App. We also had our week-long step challenge that fostered some healthy competition :)
By Friday, as a team, we walked over 290,000 steps, which is about the same distance as walking from San Francisco to Big Sur (~150 miles!).
On Monday, we kicked off the week with an affirmations walk - where we took some time away from our typical event and speaking-filled days to bring positive energy into our routines and pump ourselves up. During the walk, we used the time to think about personal goals & affirmations, listen to our favorite music & wear our favorite workout outfits! (see some of our walking views below.)
On Tuesday, we rode it out to a team-wide Lizzo Peloton Ride!
On Wednesday, we enjoyed a virtual yoga class with our very own Caitlin Harper! An event planner and yogi—she led us through a beautiful afternoon flow.
On Thursday, we shared our favorite wellness resources—from workouts and recipes to apps and life hacks, we shared the things that make us feel our best!
On Friday, we had our first Summer Friday! We were able to log off early and enjoy the wonderful warm weather.
Wellness Week served as a great way for us to connect with each other and ourselves, allowing us to continue learning ways to promote our mental and physical well-being as our world seems to be everchanging.
